I finally got back onto study desk after too long away (eeekk!!) to complete the week nine learning path after being preoccupied with other course assessments. The article “6 helpful tips for a 1 ipad classroom” was interesting and it certainly got me thinking about the many ways the ipad can be utilised in the class, even if theres only the one device in the whole class. Aside from providing additional content and support to students, having the iPad handy also allows a teacher to take notes, create reminders or even record behaviours. I have also seen teachers use the ipad to mark the role. I particarly like the idea of using a converter cable to enlarge a game onto a IWB or smart TV to engage small groups of students.
Thanks for reading, Fiona:)
